from "the man who laughs" 1928. my favorite silent film of all time. also the saddest movie i have ever seen. but it has gypies, pirates, english kings, freaks, swordplay. so awesome. plus conrad viedt was the obvious inspiration for everyone's favorite batman villain, the joker. used typically when discussing silent films, the joker and i am roflocopter-ing.
that is me a few years ago in vegas drinking absinthe before the ban. just a picture of myself that turned out really well. my picwhore icon i suppose.
i stole this from someone on el jay. the idea of two gentlemen talking about "lulz" induces them in me. when when i post a j/k sort of thing.
a still from "watchmen". the most literal comic book-to-screen movie ever. from the opening credits where the real world is imposed on the comic book world. or the comic book world imposed on the real world. re-making the famous V-J day picture with a lesbian twist was interesting but how their lives ended bummed me out. working as intended i would say. if nothing else it says this is NOT the world you are used to. hence all the superheros.
i always say tim burton drew a portrait of me. that is a half truth. it is actually concept art of icabaud crane from sleepy hallow i stole way back on account that it looked just like me, right down to the glasses and hair. now it my default.
